Even though I highly doubt that this is real leather (doesn't look, feel or smell like it; too glossy and cushony/spongy on the outside, too velvety/perfectly structured on the backside) it is nevertheless a gorgeous bag with a beautiful colour and excellent craftsmanship. Even if it were real leather or a mix of a very thin leather layer glued on a microfiber, this one has a very artificial feel and look to it. The smell is subtle, though, so no overpowering chemical smell or anything like that. The weaving is impeccable and the inside bag very cleanly finished with a very good quality fabric. The package arrived in very good condition and in a timely manner and contained a lood of additional goodies. That was a nice touch, thank you!
